Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of EVigo Cabs (rider) and EVigo Driver (driver partner), provided by EVigo Cabs ("EVigo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the apps you agree to these terms. Last updated: October 8, 2026.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the apps. Drivers must additionally hold a valid driving licence and meet our verification requirements.

Your account

You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password. You are responsible for keeping access to your number and device secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

The service

EVigo offers on-demand and scheduled electric-vehicle rides within selected serviceable areas. The rider app lets you book and track rides; the driver app lets verified drivers receive and complete trips. Coverage, vehicle types and scheduled/shared rides are decided by the operator and may change.

Bookings, fares and payment

Fares shown before a trip are estimates. The final fare is calculated at the end of the trip based on the applicable rates, distance, time and any surcharges shown to you, and is payable in cash unless stated otherwise. A ride-start OTP confirms the correct rider and vehicle.

Cancellations

You may cancel within the free cancellation window shown in the app at no charge. Cancellations after that window, or no-shows, may attract a cancellation fee, which is displayed before you confirm.

Rider responsibilities

Provide accurate pickup and drop details, be ready at the pickup point, wear seatbelts where provided, and treat drivers and vehicles with respect. You are responsible for any damage you cause to a vehicle.

Driver responsibilities

Drivers must hold valid documents, drive safely and lawfully, keep the assigned vehicle in good condition, follow the in-app trip flow, and treat riders with respect. Accepting a trip is a commitment to complete it unless cancellation is permitted.

Verification and documents

Drivers must submit the required identity and licensing documents for verification. We may approve, reject or request re-submission of documents, and may suspend access where documents are invalid, expired or cannot be verified.

Prohibited conduct

Do not use the apps for any unlawful purpose; do not harass, threaten or endanger others; do not attempt to defraud, interfere with or reverse-engineer the service; and do not submit false information or documents.

Disclaimers

The apps are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a vehicle will always be available in your area.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EVigo is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the apps. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the apps and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached or where required for safety, security or legal reasons.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
